Artemidos 8 – Building 2, is a new 20,000 m² office building hosting the headquartes of Mytilineos S.A. This iconic project achieved LEED v3 for New Construction & major Renovation in 2019.

The building consists of 4 above-grade floors and 3 below-grade. Extended fenestration characterizes the mains facades and provides a pleasant daylit working environment. The installation of external horizontal shading protects the building and provides glare control, as their inclination adjusts to the movement of the sun, thus protecting the fenestration from direct sun light. Automated internal LED lighting with dimming function boosts energy efficiency. The installation of thermal insulation and high preforming glazing contributes to minimizing losses and achieving preservation of the internal space temperature without unnecessary use of air-conditioning. Selection and installation of materials with high levels of recycled content and regional characteristics as well as exclusion of toxic materials were of top priority.
