Peiraios 62 Offices has a GFA of 4,900 m2 accommodating the offices of the greek liberal-conservative party “New Democracy”. The Projects achieved LEED certification for implementing practical and measurable strategies and solutions aimed at achieving high performance in water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality. The Projects has become the 1st project in Greece to implement LEED for Commercial Interiors.

All equipment as well as furniture were retained and relocated. Non-toxic paints and coatings were used in an effort to minimize impacts on human health. In addition, a significant portion of the materials contained either recycled content or were manufactured in Greece. The Project aimed at high energy efficiency through passive design as well as efficient building systems. HVAC systems were replaced to comply with efficiency requirements. High-efficient LED lighting and corresponding controls were installed. All plumbing fixtures were replaced to further contribute to a reduction in potable water use.
